Daily Dev Log for July 12th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, July 12th, 2017.
@Zak continued his work on the model format for Steam Workshop, and discussed specifics concerning items with @Foohy. He also started looking into issues with the bank system.
@macdguy spent the day looking into internal company matters, defining the elixir recipes, and cleaning up all the cooking recipes. He then took the rest of the day off after not feeling very well.
@Foohy added an option to toggle shared condo chat separately from the join permissions.
@Lifeless continued working on art for the new rail-based Shooting Gallery ride, and the visual upgrades for the Minigolf map, Waterhole.
@Matt learned how to create blueprint actors for the vault and the safe. While also hooking up their animations, he created the collision meshes for the item versions, and figured out how to parent them to skeletal meshes.
@MrSunabouzu continued working on items for Fishing.
@Madmijk worked on some models for his SDNL map.
@Johanna continued her work on the art for the Virus map, Solar.
@Caboose700 spent the day putting the new Australian Plaza Server online.
@Wergulz finished the “Backwards Crouch” animations, and started on the “Left Crouch” animations.
@donglekumquat continued working on music for the Ball Race map, Khromidro. He tried redesigning the drums to be more laid back, which seems to be working way better. He also further re-mixed and mastered the track to match the new drums, and solidified some transitions between different sections of the track.
@Krionikal continued working on animations for the Fishing Rod item, in preparation for Fishing.
That’s what everyone at PixelTail Games has been working on today! See you tomorrow!
