Daily Dev Log for December 2nd, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, December 2nd, 2017.
Most of the staff at PixelTail Games work Monday - Friday, except for a select few, hence the shortage of names on this Development Log.
@macdguy fixed several issues with the snowball item, in preparation for the holiday event. He implemented @Wergulz's new throwing animations for the snowball weapon, refactored the animation blueprint, and created a system to blend idle poses based on weapon hold types. This is so that @Wergulz can create unique poses for specific guns like throwing snowballs, and this system can handle dancing / waving emotes for when we start making those animations. He fixed the third person snowball position not being the hands of the player model. He started working on teleportation for minigames that take the player to different locations, and also started working on proper re spawning of players who died in a minigame. Lastly, he implemented the new throwing animations into the TNT weapon for Virus.
@Caboose700 tested the Minigolf map, Emission to verify the bridge fix solved all the issues. He also began the implementation phase of the long term art storage solution.
@donglekumquat continued working on music for Zombie Massacre.
