Daily Dev Log for December 12th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, December 12th, 2017.
@macdguy doesn't work Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
@Foohy worked on fixing some of the 4.18 build issues.
@Lifeless continued working on the Zombie Massacre map, Gasoline, and made some changes to the Snowball Battle Arena.
@Matt continued working on the Spas-12 for Zombie Massacre, making the materials and importing the weapon into Unreal.
@Madmijk continued creating turrets for Zombie Massacre, implementing the sorting and aiming functionality successfully.
@Johanna continued working on the new Plasma Rifle for Virus, continued working on the Underwater Condo patch update, and worked on some potential fixes for issues in the Minigolf map, Sweet Tooth with @Deniz.
@Caboose700 figured out an issue with the art server not automatically backing up to BackBlaze B2, and approved / rejected / reviewed some Trivia questions.
@Wergulz continued working on the Fists Melee Animation set, and started working on the "Shove" animations.
@donglekumquat continued working on music for Zombie Massacre.
@Deniz performed hardcore debugging of Sweet Tooth physics issues due to the engine upgrade. He created a bounding volume actor that can be used to modify golf ball physics to hopefully detect bad collisions and fix them before PhysX simulates. He also looked into build issues with @Foohy.
