Daily Dev Log for August 7th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, August 7th, 2017.
@Zak continued working on the Global Chat Server with @Foohy, creating a Client ID allocator, and also helped play-test Solar.
@macdguy fixed a condo exploit, and started working on Zombie Massacre. He finished the camera, aiming, flashlight, and the first pass of the shooting logic systems. He also pushed out the Tower Unite 0.3.4.3 emergency patch.
@Foohy helped play-test Solar, and began working on the Client for the Global Chat system.
@Lifeless continued working on connecting the Estate Agent to the Furniture Store. He also fixed some weird issues with LODs after the implementation of Simplygon, and started working on some models for the Nature store exterior.
@Matt was out sick today.
@MrSunabouzu continued working on materials, but had to leave early after feeling sick.
@Madmijk is out of town visiting family.
@Johanna participated in play-testing for Solar, fixing some bugs that came up during the tests, and also continued working on art for the upcoming Ball Race map, Oasis.
@Caboose700 spent some time on Saturday completely rebuilding the Los Angeles Official Plaza server after it suffered a catastrophic datacenter failure which completely wiped it.
Today, he participated in several play-tests of the upcoming Virus map, Solar, extensively tested the emergency patch, and build new clients and servers for it as well. He also updated the Official Lobby servers for the Tower Unite 0.3.4.3 emergency patch.
@donglekumquat continued conducting a sound pass on the upcoming Virus Map, Solar, and continued working on new gun sounds for Virus.
@Krionikal finished remaking the handgun animations, and started working on new animations for the Double Barrel shotgun.
