Daily Dev Log for August 3rd, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, August 3rd, 2017.
@Zak worked on the model compiler for the Steam Workshop integration, starting work on draw call batching from input triangles based on material. He also playtested Solar, and fixed some issues that were occurring during the new Tower Engine rollout last night.
@macdguy was out of town today.
@Foohy built Simplygon and successfully integrated it into our content creation process, helped playtest the upcoming Virus map, Solar, and continued developing internal administrative tools.
@Lifeless fixed an issue with Ball Race camera collision logic, worked on the blockout for the upcoming Nature store and the new Estate Agent, and started adding LODs to skeletal meshes thanks to @Foohy ‘s integration of Simplygon.
@Matt took the day off Tower development.
@MrSunabouzu setup the new Tower Engine on his end, created a rotting wood substance material for Zombie Massacre, and tested a few issues that came up with the Tower Engine rollout.
@Madmijk is out of town visiting family.
@Johanna continued working on art for the upcoming Ball Race map, Oasis. She also playtested the upcoming Virus map, Solar, and fixed some issues that came up during the playtest.
@Caboose700 started working on the Blueprint implementation of the Moderation API, and modified some parameters with the Web based portion of it. He also made some small code changes, and playtested Solar.
@Wergulz is busy with finals for school.
@donglekumquat started working on music for the upcoming Ball Race map, Oasis.
@Krionikal started remaking the animations for the handgun, using the new animation rig.
