Daily Dev Log for August 11th, 2017
Hey everyone! Here’s what everyone on the team has been working on over the course of today, August 11th, 2017.
August 11th Developer Stream

@macdguy continued working on fishing. Today he added more procedural animations to casting, which will require you to pull the cast back by holding left click and then letting go to cast the line out. He also integrated a new game play manager that will make fishing work on any server efficiently, and started reworking the HUD. He decided how the mini game will actually work, settling on an idea, and added a way to easily stop fishing. Outside of fishing, he fixed the Bowling TV screens not doing the Strike and Spare animations, and improved the CopyCat Condo Tool. You can now toggle off the rotation on the CopyCat, and he added more support for canvases.
@Lifeless optimized the plaza and moved some areas into their own sublevels for easier editing. He fixed some items that had too many material elements, and placed both the new Nature Store and Estate Agent in their proper locations.
@Matt continued working on things.
@Madmijk is currently traveling.
@Johanna continued working on art for the upcoming Ball Race map, Oasis, working hard to get it ready to show off on the stream.
@Caboose700 took part of the day off due to a dentist appointment, but helped test Oasis and started configuring the central server.
@donglekumquat is in the process of moving.
@Krionikal fine tuned the weapon sway, fixed some issues with the shells in the Double Barrel shotgun reload animations, and began remaking the Thompson animations.
