This also implies the save/load feature has functioning snapshots of whatever the owner was looking at. It would help draw (or deter) attention from a condo by giving a sneak-peek.

This would require us to host an image website and players could potentially upload bad images that we’d have to moderate.

Why not just have the thumbnails saved locally to the owner’s device? You could just send it P2P in the same way that the condo layouts are shared (unless I’m misunderstanding how things work). Of course, the image contents problem would still be an issue.
That’d be a massive security hole.

Why not just have it save the thumbnail the way Source Engine handles save thumbnails? It just takes a screenshot of whatever you’re looking at without the HUD and all that.

Because like Mac said, people could (and likely would) abuse that and get an inappropriate part of their condo in the frame
