What does this mean?
Maybe it’s like buying unlockable furniture or buying unlockable rooms for your condo or something
This means it does not function like a normal item; like the bowling balls in bowling. You “unlock” them when you purchase them. It’s just terminology.

The maps themselves. The maps are counted as unlockable items that are “unlocked” when you buy them. Again, just like bowling balls.
