Now this is only for the people who backed $60 USD or more for the game.
(I fully understand that this is not a priority. It is just a suggestion that would help out the people who paid 3X or more for the game.)
As you know, one of the bonus items is the King Midas’ Golden Watch, it’s OK at the moment but it doesn’t do much. However with some simple changes it can be a whole load better.
As of now you need to equip the watch for it to work, a simple left click on an item will change it gold, (Some items look better than others) this is nice and simple only, its too simple. If you want to turn an item on a table top gold but you miss click, the whole table is now golden. The only way to fix this is to either leave the condo and come back or put the item back into your inventory. It’s not a very effective way to fix the mistake. Also another issue is it turns things gold when you use the party popper or the wad of cash, I have turned so many items gold when I didn’t mean to by messing around with the popper. (I know I can un-equip the watch but the damage is normally done by the time I realize)
This is where the “fix” comes in.
You still need to have the watch equipped as normal but instead of the left click to turn an item gold, it could be re-mapped to the G button (for gold haha) after an item is made gold it will say gold. Leaving the condo no longer removes the gold texture from the item. Another tap of the G button will “un-gold” the item. Nice and simple!
Along side the turning items gold it could also be used to turn clothing items/accessories golden. Who wouldn’t want a golden cat beanie? The other thing is to have the option to turn your player gold. You can already become so many silly colours, why not let the people with the watch turn themselves solid gold? This could also work in game modes, you could turn your golf ball gold along with your ball from ball race, gold guns in virus, a gold go kart from accelerate, and many other items in the other game modes.
The final idea is for the condo again. The ability to change the walls, roof and floor golden. Not the strange flat gold texture we have now, but the condo walls and floor when turned golden would have nice beautiful patterns, they are made to look lovely and luxurious. The floors could have amazing patterns with gold spliced into it, the walls could have decals near the top and bottom just to give it the “oooo” and “ahhh” look.

(This needs a load of work for this to be a thing, I know the amazing Dev’s have a sh!t tone of things to do and this would not be a priority, I know this, but I can still suggest it)

And finally while on the topic of making things look nice, The golden texture we have now is a bit crap to be honest. I think Foob and Foohy would agree. The other day they were in my condo hanging out in the hot tub (crazy I know, I was "fan boying" so hard) I thought that the normal hot tub wasn't good enough for them, they deserved better.
So I pull out my watch and make it a Golden hot tub. I immediately got met with "eww what the f^ck" from both of them. It turned the whole thing gold, water and all. It lost the look of a hot tub and became more of a sold gold cauldron. They got out and moved inside to the tv. Some one wanted the TV to be gold, so I did but it made the whole thing gold, screen and all! you could no longer see the video. Its an easy fix to turn the TV on and off but that is an annoying issue to have mid movie. They both left without saying good bye (Jerks, JK I love you guys) and that was that.
I turned a few more items gold to see what they look like and they don't look nice. The popcorn machine looks like a solid gold rectangle, if you were to look at it you would have no clue what it is. You can no longer see into the microwave and the lava lamp turns into a big golden butt pl^g (and many more). Anything with glass or water goes solid gold, and it no longer looks nice.
I think the only way to fix this is to have the Super awesome devs come up with better gold properties for the watch. Any glass/liquid will not turn gold, the normal textures move over onto the gold (like the big "POPCORN" text on the popcorn machine will now be placed over the gold. The plush animals faces could be moved over on top of the gold. soda machine will have the drink labels and the big blue sign move over onto the now solid gold soda machine.) basically have the base item turn gold but have the textures move over onto the gold, and have the same for the clothing/accessories (I can make a picture of what I'm talking about if you have no clue what I'm trying to say here).
I know I’m gonna sound like a snob but I think what we got for 3X’s the price is nothing. As of right now the watch does nothing, I know a few people including myself who have gotten the watch are a bit disappointed with it. This was just a few ideas that could make the watch better and more special for the people who have them.

TLDR: Ability to turn clothing/accessories/player golden. Turn items gold and un-gold with G button instead of left click. Make the walls, floor and roof be able to be turned gold. Fix many of the textures so the gold looks good on them.
